Funny you should mention that right now.
I am a newbie to PD. I’ve joined my University’s new Electro-Acoustic ensemble and we are using Raspberry Pi 3 Plus’s with Pure Data and a bunch of logic mapped into it. We have a quad-stereo monitor setup and can control the routing of each instrument with Wiimotes.
I’ve also begun mapping parameters of synths like Amsynth to Wiimotes so you can modulate and articulate the sound wirelessly.
We haven’t deployed control to our iOS and Android devices yet but we’ll probably get to that.
It’s definitely neat stuff. Makes me think of a modular studio but with non-traditional object oriented control options.
sounds like a fun setup you’ve got there!
have you used free online material to learn pure data or do you have any nifty tips on books on the subject?
probably a bit too rudimentary for you since you are doing a course on it but this playlist/channel is a great resources for getting into pd: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL12DC9A161D8DC5DC very seldom that you find so well structured tutorials on anything imo.
