I don’t think I’ve ever worked so hard or long on a track, but I thought it was only right for our landmark 100th Soundevotion competition 🙂 I really tried to push myself with this piece in terms of getting out of my comfort zone, and working hard at the mixing and mastering. Anyway I hope you enjoy it!
I decided to call it “Transition” because the melody transitions a lot throughout the track, and also because I’ve been in a transition stage in my life for the past few years, moving from a crappy place to a good one, but right now I’m still in the inbetween stage 😉
A huge congrats and THANK YOU to Sonicade and crew for 100 rounds of SDCompo, well done guys, and thank you for your dedication!! You are all kinds of awesome.
Also special thanks to my good friend JustinCredible for the mastering tips you sent me a while back, I hope I got them right! And to the love of my life Rori, aka Cullyn, aka husband / bad@ss old-skool tracker for the very helpful track critiques and feedback.
Good luck everyone!!
