This is my first entry in the SDCompo for nearly five years! The composing process essentially amounted to throwing the samples together until I got something that I liked. It ended up with a similar feel to “Bonetrousle” from Undertale because I’ve been unhealthily obsessed with that game lately. Once I noticed the similarity, I came up with this name because it sounds a bit like something Papyrus would say.

What a funny tune! I would like to see Trumpetman jump and run through several levels in a surrealistic game-world world!
Really well done! I like it!
Wellcome back! Good luck!
I think this captures something from video game music I hadn’t really thought about before. I think the distinct sound might come from defying expectations about how long a sample will be held. They probably didn’t have enough space for both a staccato and a sustained version of the same instrument so I think that’s why sustained xylophone and quickly changing brass and strings in your song have a familiar feel.
